We know starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time. This page is here to help you feel informed and at ease. In your first session, we’ll complete an intake assessment to better understand your history, needs, and goals. Below, you’ll find answers to common questions about what to expect, how to schedule, payment options—including HSA/FSA—and available session formats like phone appointments for individual therapy. If your question isn’t listed here, feel free to reach out—we’re here to help.

Your consultation is a 15–20 minute video or phone call to briefly discuss your concerns, goals, and any questions you have about therapy. It’s a chance for us to see if we’re a good fit before scheduling your first session.

You can schedule sessions through the Client Portal. Once logged in, you can view availability, reschedule, or cancel up to 24 hours in advance.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Missed sessions or late cancellations may result in a fee.

The first session is a space to share your story and goals. I’ll ask questions to understand your background, symptoms, and what support can look like moving forward.

We accept insurance (Cigna, United Health Care, Aetna, and Medicaid), HSA/FSA cards, private pay, and offer CareCredit financing for therapy bundles.

Yes. All sessions are virtual. You can choose between secure video sessions or audio-only phone calls for individual therapy if that feels more comfortable.

You're not alone—finances can be a big concern when seeking support. I accept several insurance plans (Cigna, Optum, Aetna, and Medicaid), as well as HSA/FSA cards. I also offer CareCredit financing for therapy packages and may provide a sliding scale fee upon request, depending on availability.
